The ultimate power in this world, in my opinion, is the power to make a decision.
The best and the most exhilarating fact about this power is, every human being has this power. They are fundamentally born with it. If something doesn't consist of this power, they are void of being a human.
The art lies in this (here, this refers to what I have written below).
"How I choose what is right for me that will help me achieve my goal".
Obviously, this statement is quite obvious and subjective, absolutely, solidly subjective. To million people, this statement means a million things. But isn't that the beauty, the beauty of infinite possibilities? Yes, it is, but there is something that is common across all these million people and how they choose a possibility. It is the "art". This "art" can be defined, manufactured and produced. It is a procedure, a process, something like a substance - a definite - a definable entity. Think of the "art" as a physical object, a "thing" for examble (tamilian accent). Think of it as a small cuboid, lets say, something that looks like a duster. This means, you can physically feel it, touch it, smell it, taste it and even judge this "thing". This means, I can take the duster and use it myself, you can take it and use it somewhere else or erase the black board, someone else can take it and probably even sell it and make money out of it. So, why would someone want to either rub the board? Why would someone want to sell it and make money? or why would someone want to take a picture of it? Well, because they have some "goal" defined consciously or subconsciously in their heads which drives them to take action. The person who wants to sell the duster instead of rubbing the board is because, his goal was to make money out of it. Whereas the person who used it to rub the board did not sell it because, he simply wanted to erase what was written on the board. So, what I am trying to say here is - a "goal" is a very important part of the "decision making power" which you have. When you have a goal, only then can you have decision making power. Without a goal, there is no point in making the decision. So, again, goal, is a definite - a definable entity.
The beauty again here is, a goal, can be -
That's right, you guessed it...
ANYTHING, haina beta?
Yes.
A goal can be
a black board
or a water bottle,
or air
or go and have a bath
or to watch a TVF video
or sex
or like this post and share it.
or tweet it
or..

or it could be a verb, a noun or an adjective.
But frankly, a goal makes more sense when it is a any verb, an action item or a task or something that YOU want to do, something that you SHOULD do. So, define your goals. Goals give you the actual "power" to make decisions. Choose a goal you love (not your ex girlfriend, of course). Simply making a decision to jump in the well, isn't good enough a reason.
Ok, but there are many things that doesn't have a reason behind it, that doesn't stop you from doing it though. There is no reason why you just poked your nose, or why you fell in love, exactly like there is no reason behind watching Arnab Goswami's show or why Rahul Gandhi is so dumb. So the point arises, well if someone can still do things without a reason, why need the "goal" behind the "power to make a decision" ? I can do it even without reasons.
Well, yes, that is right, but having a "gaol" will always keep you motivated to achieve that goal. It's like brownie points; like a catalyst. Its for the better. As a kid, you simply don't shout at your elders - no you just cannot question your elders about that - no reasons behind, you simply do it. Things like these can be done without a "goal", and you might learn and realize the goal behind something probably later, say after 10 years maybe. So, it is important to do somethings - that are necessary, without a reason and somethings for a reason. But those things that need to have a reason, is up to you to define. And so...
