USP for IPL, What is it "really"?

What "really" interests you in watching the IPL? Like, Really?? What exactly could be the USP for IPL??

  1. Investors - It is quite convincing for the fact that, people really have exploited and used the medium of cricket to fill their pockets. I won't blame everybody involved though. The part I wouldn't blame is the entertainment Industry, because "do they really even need a medium to do that"?? When a player isn't fit for a particular team or if his performance isn't upto the mark, investors think "What if I could take this guy sell him to a team where he really suits" You make millions on that, really. Investors, know their capabilities, in terms of fame as well as financially. They know when Shahrukh Khan can buy a team like KKR, he is going to charm his so called fans, by going naked (if they win) - BULLSHIT. On the other hand, Vijay Maliya was born to do this kind of thing. He is much into the entertainment industry (media) than the corporate haste. Why do they invest? Answer: Brand Identity, self or product's. IPL has politically or non-politically merged the entertainment industry with the corporate.
  2. Passion - Yes, people are die hard fans of your team when you have Sachin Tendulkar, nothing much to add on that.
  3. Strategy - I love it, it is about know and unveiling the truth about the team, in a much faster way, less than half the time. Young blood are looking for hard hitting. Clearly, IPL has changed Cricket from the test of endurance to the test of power for players. That is what makes it interesting. Of course, there are international influences which has brought about the change, but it's for the better, for viewers. It has given the BCCI to keep people entertained throughout the year, year after year. It has stolen the complete viewership and target rating points from other channels.
