At 22 it is exciting, at 30 it is a profession and at 50 it is a habit.

Yes, for me it was exciting. It is all about ideas and implementing those ideas. All you need is a language. The idea was about going green in simple words, at a larger scale. This idea was born on Jan 1, 2008 and we have been stretching it like a rubber band and ended up writing a chapter for the book based on the same idea. We were all too proud when we worked on the idea initially. We were at the peak among others. 14th March 2008, Times of India interviewed us. Today we completed writing a chapter for a handbook on GreenICT.

Ok. What is it?

We, the Tripod, were developing a framework that included set of instructions and policies by which any Industry could go green. We agglomerated every bit of creative idea we could produce. It took us six months to build a software explaining how we could do it. I must thank our mentor Dr. Bhuvan Unhelkar who guided us at every step. It has been the most exciting time of my life till date. I don;t want to go into the details of what exactly the Green project was all about, since it is too technical for me to explain and apart form that this post title would not suit its description.

Being in a network, working with co-authors who are at the very front line facing the sea is menacingly exciting. We don't know what is going to happen next. What we say and write is simply assumed by others. But, we are never wrong. We are on the edge of a breakthrough we simply ignore the fact how it is going to affect us at the end. Authoring is not all about that. We do not think the end results in the beginning. It is an evolution of an idea that is born. There is always a lot of heat between what is right and what is wrong. But we try to construe in a way that is too appealing to understand. It is truly a joy and is all about ideas. Manipulating and playing with ideas is the whole aim of authoring.
